Until now there has been some confusion about the pricing and availability of the ASUS Eee Pad Slider, but today ASUS The Netherlands has confirmed the actual price and release period to us. The Eee Pad Slider will be released in Holland at the end of September and will only be released as a 32GB version. Strangely, the release of the 16GB version has been canceled. De 32GB version will cost you 499 Euro, which will be followed by 3G versions in the first quarter of 2012.
Yesterday the first hands-on video of the Eee Pad Slider appeared on YouTube and today Notebookitalia has found another video from the same guys showing us the USB-host functionality of the Slider. One of the improvements that come with Android 3.1 is better support for USB devices and accessories. With this new version of Android devices as a mouse, keyboard, USB harddisk, joystick and game console can easily be used.
