Smartphones met de Qualcomm Snapdragon 865
Tijdens de Tech Summit van Qualcomm in Hawaii hebben meerdere telefoonfabrikanten bevestigd te werken aan smartphones met de gisteren aangekondigde Qualcomm Snapdragon 865-processor. Ook de midrange Snapdragon 765 is daar gepresenteerd. Xiaomi, Oppo, Motorola en HMD Global (Nokia) werken allemaal aan nieuwe toestellen die de system-on-a-chip ondersteunen.
Xiaomi was zelfs zo enthousiast dat het bedrijf meteen het bestaan van de Xiaomi Mi 10 bevestigd heeft. Die verschijnt in het eerste kwartaal van 2020.

Oppo heeft ook bevestigd te werken aan een high-end smartphone. Ook dit toestel komt in het eerste kwartaal van 2020 uit.

HMD Global, het bedrijf achter Nokia, wil volop gebruikmaken van de Snapdragon 765.
